The Impact cryosauna provides not only the coldest user cryotherapy pain management experience available, but the most all-over cold skin temperature eliminating “warm spots” within the unit. Localized cryotherapy is a service that Pro Cryo Plus provides that is not found in the area. Localized cryotherapy targets a specific area of the body to treat inflammation due to injury or chronic pain. Localized treatments are also a great tool to use for post surgery to help heal incision areas and swelling. We recommend a localized treatment to help with post-injury or surgery 3-5 times in close succession. For best results, a Whole Body Cryotherapy session should be part of the treatment to help maximize recovery.
Pro Cryo Plus is excited to be the only wellness center in the St. Louis Metro Area offering cryo facials. A cryo facial involves a non-invasive “beam” of focused liquid nitrogen applied to the face, neck and scalp. The process works to diminish wrinkles and reduce inflammation by contracting the skin and accelerating microcirculation which supports better oxygenation of dermal cells, encourages collagen production and helps to detox and rejuvenate the skin leaving your face feeling vitalized. We recommend this treatment 3-5 times in close succession. Cryo facials have also been shown to diminish skin blemishes such as acne and eczema.
Along with being the only facility in the St. Louis Metro Area to offer cryo facials and localized cryotherapy, Pro Cryo Plus will also be the only facility in the area specializing in concussion prevention for athletes. Most people are aware of the rising rates of concussions among athletes. What most people fail to realized is that there are steps that can be taken to help reduce the rate of concussion and to lessen the severity of a concussion if one does occur. Owner Rich Putnick has been successfully using a specific evidence-based concussion prevention program with every athlete he trains for over 20 years. We reccommend concussion prevention sessions on a weekly basis.
