Cryotherapy is "cold therapy." During a Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) session, the body is immersed in ice cold air (up to -220 degrees Fahrenheit depending on a client's goals) while standing in an enclosed chamber with their head out and above the cold air. The treatment lasts between 1.5 and 3 minutes.
